सुख और दुःख के लक्षण

सर्वं परवशं दु:खं सर्वम् आत्मवशं सुखम्।

एतद् विद्यात् समासेन लक्षणं सुखदु:खयो:॥

पराधीन के लिए सर्वत्र दुःख है और स्वाधीन के लिए सर्वत्र सुख।

यह संक्षेप में सुख और दुःख के लक्षण हैं॥

There is pain everywhere for dependent and there is 

pleasure everywhere for independent. In short, 

these are the characteristics of pleasure and pain.
