In 1998, he sold Yoyodyne
to Yahoo! for about $30 million and became Yahoo's vice president of direct
marketing.

He launched Squidoo, a community website that allowed users to
create pages for subjects of interest.

Godin and Squidoo were profiled on CNN and in the Washington
Post.

In July 2008, Squidoo was one of the 500 most visited sites in
the world.

In 2012, he launched a Kickstarter campaign which secured him a
